Cancellation & Refund Policy

We understand that plans change. Here is our fair and transparent cancellation policy.

More than 7 days

Full advance refund issued to your original payment method within 5–7 business days.

3–7 days before

50% of the advance amount will be refunded. The rest is retained as a cancellation fee.

Less than 48 hours

No refund. The full advance amount is forfeited as a late cancellation fee.

2. Pay at Resort Bookings

For "Pay at Resort" bookings, no advance payment is collected. You may cancel your reservation at any time before check-in. However, repeated no-shows may result in restrictions on future reservations. We kindly request that you inform us at least 24 hours in advance if you cannot make your booking.

3. How to Cancel

To cancel your booking, please contact us through one of the following channels with your Booking Reference ID:

Cancellations are processed during business hours (9 AM – 7 PM, Monday–Sunday). The date of your cancellation request determines the applicable refund tier.

4. Rescheduling

We offer one free rescheduling per booking if requested at least 7 days before the original check-in date, subject to room availability on the new dates. Rescheduling requests made less than 7 days before check-in will be treated as cancellations under the policy above.

5. Cancellation by the Resort

In the rare event that the Resort needs to cancel a confirmed booking (e.g., due to force majeure, maintenance issues, or overbooking errors), we will notify you as soon as possible and provide a full refund of the advance payment, or an alternative room/date at your preference.

6. Refund Processing

Approved refunds for online payments are processed through Razorpay and credited back to your original payment source (credit card, debit card, UPI, net banking) within 5–7 business days. The exact timing may vary depending on your bank or payment provider. We do not issue refunds in cash or via alternative payment methods.

7. Contact for Refund Disputes

If you have not received your refund within 7 business days, please contact us at sumabeachresort@gmail.com with your Booking Reference ID and Razorpay payment ID. We will resolve the issue within 2 business days.
